How can the act of writing a book be punishable of imprisonment or arouse declaration of death? In different field – political, literary, scientific…– the book has been in the last centuries the main “instrument” of diffusion of knowledge to promote free thought, freedom, and revolution. While at the beginning of the 21^st century, the world seems to be sinking into an authoritarian period of intolerance, while the Guy Debord already criticizes this “Society of the Spectacle,” specifically how an object, a book art, can still inspire the libertarian spirit.
